This map area refers to the large area of North Phoenix that is bounded by the 101 Freeway to the north, the I-17 Freeway to the west, Shea Boulevard to the south and Tatum Boulevard to the east.
Single family residence options are plentiful in this area of North Phoenix, with dozens of distinct neighborhoods. Situated near the canal, the subdivision of Prelude at Paradise Valley features single family homes built in the 1990s. The Villagio at Grovers is another subdivision with single famly homes close to the Interchange. Parque Vista Estates features single family homes built in the late 1970s and ranging from 1,100 to 1,700 sq ft on average. The Park Hill subdivision has homes built in 1990 and the home sizes range from 1,200 to over 2,000 sq ft. Shopping areas within and adjacent to this map area are plentiful, and include the Cave Creek Marketplace, with a large Costco and other shops and restaurants, Desert Ridge Marketplace is to the north, with its dozens of restaurants and stores, as well as dozens of smaller strip malls and Paradise Valley Mall is to the south is a full service indoor mall. This area is also home to Paradise Valley Community College, the Musical Instrument Museum and the Phoenix-Deer Valley Municipal Airport.
Fitness and outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy the Buffalo Ridge Park, Grovers Park with its separate dog park, Coyote Basin Park, Aviano Park, Fireside Park, the Equestrian Park, Cave Buttes Recreation Area, Reach 11, and the golf courses at Wildfire Golf Course and Paradise Valley Golf Course.
